After slaying the charts two years in a row with their spring anthem "Cherry Blossom Ending," Busker Busker decided to skip summer and make an autumn inspired second album and release the title track, "Love At First"
Borrows heavily from staples of alternative rock back in the late 90s-early 2000s. Think along the lines of Goo Goo Dolls "Iris" or one of Nickelback's less annoying songs. Again we have Beom-Jun Jang utilizing his falsetto, but it sounds lot better and less whiny than in "Cherry Blossom Ending." I'm glad that Busker Busker decided not to follow their same bouncy happy-go-lucky formula.
Final Grade:B
The music shows a couple going through the motions of a break up as they go through their daily routines. It's touching and goes very well with the song. I actually shed some tears. Bravo Busker Busker, bravo!

Busker Busker "Cherry Blossom Ending"
This song is almost a year old, but I don't care because I just discovered it and it's still charting. Busker Busker are an indie three piece signed to CJ E&M, a subset of MNET (who have acts like FT Island and T-ARA). They were runner ups on a K-Pop singing show back in 2011 and released two albums last year. "Cherry Blossom Ending", the title track to their first album was a hit, peaking at #1 on the GAON singles charts and it is back in the top ten, which makes this post kind of relevant. I really like the lighthearted atmosphere of the song and Jang Beom-Jun's struggle like falsetto during the chorus. In the video, the members go on a sunny journey across the countryside when they see a girl and a cherry blossom tree on TV.
