After the mercilessness onslaught of teasers, Conor Maynard has released the first single for his upcoming sophomore effort. "R U Crazy" was produced by Labrinth and we hear Mr. Maynard being a little more brash with his girl, saying how he should he should have hooked up with her sister and is giving her the middle finger. Please Conor, you're way classier than that. You don't need act like a bad boy and be a try hard like all these other pop stars to show how talented you are. But I will say this again, if you have to strain to reach falsetto, please don't try. Still a banger, just no ear-splitting faux-setto please.
Conor Maynard has selected "Animal" as the fourth single from his album "Contrast." After selecting winning songs like "Can't Say No" "Turn Around" and "Vegas Girl," I would assume that he would have went with the Rita Ora collab "Better Than You" or "Just In Case", but I guess this is an alright choice. He enlists rapper Wiley for the single version and in the video, they perform the song in some underground venue with a woman with some heavy eye makeup most likely stalking Conor. The video is a bit on the dull side, but it fits perfectly with the song.
