Album Review: Richard Osborne "Nothing Personal" EP

Nothing Personal is the third EP that Osborne has released. Unfortunately, it's also the least cohesive.

Richard Osborne "Motive" (feat. Ca$his & Mistah F.A.B.)

Richard Osborne gets a helping hand from Eminem...sort of. For the singer's latest tune "Motive" with a late 80's throwback theme going on, Shady Records artist Ca$his is featured on the record along with Mistah F.A.B. The production on the track sounds familiar, but I can't put my hands on where it's from, if from anywhere. This along with sex anytime anyplace anthem "Wherever I Fall" will be on the singer's "Nothing Personal" EP, to drop early next year.

Richard Osborne "Wherever I Fall" (feat. Torch of Triple Cs)

Someone's horny! UK R&B artist Richard Osborne already released a strong EP earlier this year with "Late Night Thoughts" and is already working towards releasing his third. To be honest, I'm ready for a full-length project but I guess you can't rush perfection. His latest output is ditty called "Wherever I Fall" and features Maybach Music Group's Torch. I assumed the title was about getting back up again after failure, but nope! It's about making wherever you fall a bed...so you can do the nasty!!! The production is a more straight-forward affair, with Osborne reaching for falsetto in the middle part of the song (and pulling off quite nicely). Vocals are consistent, but maybe Torch's part could have been done without, as it really doesn't add much to it as a whole. Side note: you know you're about to hit it big when you have a Parental Advisory sticker on your single cover. I'm just saying.

Richard Osborne "Just Leave" Music Video

After releasing his EP "Late Night Thoughts" earlier this year, R&B singer Richard Osborne has released the visuals for the standout track on the project, "Just Leave". The brooding, electronically driven piece was remixed a few months ago by and has gotten a warm response from both fans and critics. The video parallels the song, with Richard and his love interest getting into it and parting ways. Check it below!

Richard Osborne "Just Leave" Remix (feat. Dice Raw)

UK singer Richard Osborne has remixed the standout track on his second EP "Late Night Thoughts" "Just Leave" and dropped it today. The plodding, electro-soul tune was one of the songs that I play consistently from the EP, which was released back in February, as it reminds me of a Drake tune. For this remix, he linked up with Dice Raw, a Grammy nominated producer, known for his work with acclaimed band The Roots. Could the remix could be a indicator of bigger things for Osborne, maybe a mainstream label deal? I don't know, but either way, this is a tune, so share with your friends if you will!

Richard Osborne "LNT" Music Video

UK singer/rapper Richard Osborne (one of my favourite unsigned acts) has released the music video for his song "LNT" (Late Night Thoughts). The song, which I equate to an Ed Sheeran meets Drake piece, will be included on his upcoming EP of the same name, due to be released December 23rd. Watch the music video below and follow Richard on Twitter here.
