While everyone is still whining that T.O.P still hasn't released a solo project, fanning themselves waiting on G-Dragon's or Taeyang's, or simply not caring that Daesung is promoting his in Japan I'm over here like #teamSeungribitch!!! He is the most underrated member of the group and his VVIP album has yet to be touched by any of his fellow BIGBANG peeps. After seeing the rated R trailer for his "Let's Talk About Love" mini, the first single had to be just as raunchy.
An interesting choice. I assumed that the single was going to be the track we heard in the trailer, but I was taken aback when I heard acoustic guitars mixed with European synths. The song is incredibly subdued and Seungri's vocals are restrained almost painfully, in comparison to the bombastic top forty dance production and overconfident performance showcased in my favourite solo song of his "What Can I Do". The hustlin' hustlin' part took me to Rick Ross' track of the same name. It's a slow burner, but it's just smoky enough to do the job.
