I wonder about Example sometimes. I almost counted him out entirely after the first two singles from his album did nothing lyrically and sonically for me personally, but he may just be pulling our at our musical leg for fun.

Homework: Crayon Pop & Gaga It's About The Music People!!!
Crayon Pop is coming to America! Lady Gaga announced last Thursday that quirky K-Poppers Crayon Pop would be the opening act for her upcoming ARTRave Tour for select dates in North America and Canada in June and July. This comes a week after Gaga performed at SXSW where she also acted as the keynote speaker. The singer was also spotted watching the K-Pop Night Out event, where popular acts such as HyunA of girl group 4Minute and rapper Jay Park showcased their talents.
TROY "Green Light"
If you have been following singer Bumkey, you'll see he's making a name for himself as a soloist, being featured on Ga-In's pre-release track "Fuck You" and his own "Attraction" single back in the summer. Now along with members Jaewoong, Changwoo and Kanto, he has now officially debuted as a part of the R&B/rap idol group TROY, offering up the subdued light jazz tune in the form of their debut single "Green Light".

Lady Gaga "G.U.Y" Music Video
It's no secret that the "ARTPOP" era has been a bit rocky, from the dismal sales, the sloppy promotion cycle and Gaga lamenting her frustration with her team. Instead of playing it safe and releasing radio-friendly fan favourite "Gypsy", Gags has chosen "G.U.Y" one of the standouts from the album instead, set to impact radio on April 8th.

Homework: NS Yoon Ji Is Coming Back (Finally) :D
HOLD THE PHONE! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!! ALL OTHER K-POP COMEBACKS HAVE BECOME IRRELEVANT! REPEAT! ALL OTHER COMEBACKS IRRELEVANT!!!
Banks "Brain" Music Video
Alt-R&B singer Banks delivers the music video for her perfect-for-the-midnight-hour single, "Brain". The track dropped at the end of January, but the video is just seeing the light of day almost two months later. Banks is shown writhing, stretching and shrouded in a slilken sheet with shots of trippy kaleidoscopic shapes mixed inbetween.
4Minute Whatcha Doin' Today? (With .Gifs)
4Minute sure likes to ask questions! "What's My Name" was in no way anything amazing, but I would catch myself listening to it over and over and over. Plus, it was their first #1 hit so something must have been right about that song! Again, Cube Entertainment enlists the Dr. Luke of Korea, Brave Brothers the brass-filled, hyperactive hit, "Whatcha Doin Today"

Calvin Harris "Summer": It's A Yes From Me...
There are only two musical on this earth right now who can't seem to make a terrible song in my opinion. One of them is 2AM Club and the other is Adam Wiles (also known as Calvin Harris). The "18 Months" era spawned nine top ten hits in his native UK and finally gave him the worldwide recognition that had been evading him (or that he just didn't care about) since debuting in 2007. He's moving on and plans on delivering more singles for another upcoming LP, hopefully this year. The first offering comes in the form of "Summer",

Orange Caramel's "Catallena" Is Quite Fishy...
Orange Caramel have never done it for me personally. Their concepts have been too sugary sweet, cutesy or man-pining centric. It's a good thing that decided to change it up a tad for their third single, "Catallena".

CL, Diplo Skrillex and G-Dragon Come Together For "Dirty Vibe"
CL has made amends for affiliating herself with will.i.am (last year's "Getting Dumb") and has given us the rap her fans deserved.
Neon Bunny "It's You"
Frank Ocean "Hero" (feat. Mick Jones and Paul Simonon)
Converse has been doing this annual "Three Artists, One Song" where two artists and one producer come together and make a song to promote their brand. This year, Frank Ocean, Diplo and The Clash's Mick Jones and Paul Simonon come together on the reggae-rock track "Hero". I guess it beats eating at Chipotle...

Album Review: Katy B "Little Red"
Katy B
Little Red
Rinse.FM/Columbia
Katy B laid her whole life's story on the dancefloor for her debut record, 2011's "On A Mission". The underground production, aversion to making generic "let's drink-party and have sex" songs and powerful vocals made it stand out amongst her contemporaries and garnered her a Mercury Prize nom. So how do you outdo yourself on your follow-up when you've set it so high for yourself?

Performances from The 2014 Oscars
Last night's Oscars weren't just about "12 Years A Slave" or Ellen's Degeneres's star-studded selfie. Some of music's biggest stars took the stage to perform their nominated songs.
TVXQ's Repackaged "Spellbound" Title Track Saves The Day
After disappointing comeback songs from both 2NE1 and Girls Generation last week, TVXQ'a repackaged title track "Spellbound" was the saving grace.
Alexis Jordan "Gone" Music Video
In 2011, Alexis Jordan seemed to be making a name for herself in international territories with her chart-topping single "Happiness" and her self-titled album. With the "Acid Rain" singer still working on her second album, we get a teaser of what it may sound like with the alternative R&B tune "Gone".
2NE1 "Happy" and "Come Back Home" Music Videos
With the release of their album "Crush" after teasing the public with one-off singles for so long, 2NE1 have dropped the videos for "Come Back Home" and "Happy".

Girls Generation's "Mr. Mr." Music Video Makes The Song A Bit Less Basic
Earlier this week, I complained about Girls Generation's comeback track, "Mr. Mr." and how it didn't live up to the flawlessness of its candy coated, hip-pop schizophrenic older sister, "I Got A Boy". However, I can't seem to stop listening to it. The M/V finally dropped after having some technical difficulties in post-production.
