Ariana Grande "Baby I"

Seems like Ariana Grande is going to ride this 90s revival into superstardom. After gaining many Mariah Carey comparisions on her first top ten single, "The Way" with Whack Mac Miller, Ariana follows up with "Baby I". "Baby I" utilizes the same formula that launched Mariah Carey's career: the sometimes nasally, but sweet vocals, heavy use of the whistle register towards the end of the song and straddling the line between R&B and pop. Her songs "Honey" and "Emotions" come to mind. I also hear some Brandy influences in there, especially during the second verse. I like it tons better than "The Way" and will definitely smash! Now to wait on all the pressed stans who are going to ridicule her for sounds exactly like their idol.
