Porter Robinson "Flicker"

Porter Robinson's "Worlds" will more than likely be my favourite electronic driven release (if Calvin Harris doesn't release). "Sad Machine" and "Lionhearted" were both good for what they were: downtrodden melancholy and cinematic EDM. "Flicker"...

"Flicker" takes the listener back to 2012's "Language". Menacing synths, handclaps and a jumble of Japanese phrases compressed to its limits keep the track from being another flash in the pan track. It's complicated, but not for the sake of being complicated. It's also a lot less GP friendly than "Lionhearted". And dare I say I hear a bit of Yasutaka Nakata in there?
