Ailee's "Singing Got Better" Sounds Good, But Doesn't Set Her Apart...

While Ailee has (so far) made her career from making carbon copies of American pop tunes (Heaven/Halo), (Hush, Hush/I Will Show You) (Crazy In Love/You & I), we have yet to hear anything that would make you go "HEY! That's an Ailee song!"
Her newest song, "Singing Got Better" doesn't do much to break that mold. It just sounds like every other Korean rock ballad that has been released in the past three years. It would be nice if Ailee would put out something with a bit more character. However, the song is good: the chorus is strong, her vocals aren't too overwhelming, but full of emotion and it would do well in a drama tie-in. The video shows Ailee after her "singing got better" and she's a star and her pre-fame days with her boyfriend (played by MBLAQ's Lee Joon).
