I'm starting to think that Example is losing his musical mojo. 2011's "Playing In The Shadows" and 2012's "The Evolution of Man" were phenomenal records, with the latter being criminally underrated by the public and not given the proper single releases.
Now that he's with Epic, his output has been lacking to say the least. "All The Wrong Places" sounded like a reject from a Mortal Kombat tribute soundtrack and now we have "Kids Again", which he's been teasing by releasing a number of remixes before the actual studio version. It's production is better, but Elliot sounds unispired and no, it's not because he isn't rapping because he doesn't rap on "Queen of Your Dreams" and that slays. What happened to the Eliot who gave us "Kickstarts", "Stay Awake" and "All My Lows"? I need that Example back or at least a killer video to salvage this. "Kids Again" will be released March 16th.
