New music from indie-pop trio Foster The People has come!
The band's debut "Torches" came out in 2011 and spawned the hit "Pumped Up Kicks" (just in case you needed a refresher), but after a string of entertaining music videos for singles that should have had more success, the band has been mostly silent for 2013. Today, the band dropped the name, date and album cover for their sophomore follow-up "Supermodel", in addition to the first single, "Coming of Age" "Coming of Age" sounds a bit more rich and organic than the tracks on "Torches", but ultimately still sounds like the Foster The People that we've been enjoying up until this point. It also doesn't look like there gunning for a radio single like some bands do when they get some type of unexpected success. Mark Foster himself said the tune was more laid back. "Supermodel" is set to drop March 14th.
We've been waiting so long for this album! Finally it is on its way! Glad I snagged my preorder from http://smarturl.it/FosterSite already
