BANKS "Brain"

LA based singer-songwriter Jillian Banks (known professionally as BANKS) has been hot on the lips of hipsters and fingertips of bloggers since last year, earning her numerous one-to-watch awards, including a placement on BBC's Sound of 2014 poll and a touring spot with Canadian alt-R&B singer The Weeknd.
The next step for the budding artist is a debut album via Harvest Records and a teaser of said album in the form of the haunting, SHLOHMO-produced "Brain". The song dropped on Tuesday (January 28th), with BANKS half whisperering, half singing the beginning in a sultry raspy hybrid, which swells into a full-throated, warped extravaganza around the 2 minute mark.
